What turnkey sourcing from China means
One party is responsible for the whole cycle: finding and vetting the factory, negotiating the factory price, ordering samples, signing the contract, controlling production to AQL, arranging freight and customs and delivering to your door. You pay the factory price plus a flat 10% — no hidden markups.
Who it is for and from what volume
Developers, interior designers and architects, hoteliers and HORECA operators, traders and marketplace sellers, private clients furnishing a villa. Minimum volume is $100,000 per year — one order or several across the year. Small batches from 10 kg go through the small-cargo service; 1688 and Taobao purchases through the buying agent.
What it costs and what the 10% covers
The commission is 10% of order value. It covers factory search and vetting, negotiation and contract, AQL inspections, logistics and paperwork. The goods themselves, freight, insurance, duties and destination VAT are itemised separately — and fixed in the landed-cost estimate before shipment, not after.
How long it takes
Roughly 2–4 months from brief to door: 1–3 weeks for factory shortlisting and samples, 30–60 days for production, 30–45 days for sea freight with customs. The exact production time depends on the category and factory and is fixed in the contract; urgent small batches go by air (5–10 days) or consolidated cargo (15–25 days). The inspection report arrives 24–48 hours after the factory visit.
